| When/How I started banding | Started learning cornet 1981, aged 8. Joined Hampshire County Training Band 1987-89. Played Trumpet in Southampton Wind Band 1988-91 and in Peter Symond's College Orchestra. Stopped playing when I went to university (I can’t remember why) but started again in 2000 when I realised I wasn’t drinking enough. |
