| Position | Repiano Cornet |

| When/How I started banding | Josie Miel came into my class when I was in my first year of middle school and asked if anyone fancied playing a brass instrument. Anyone who did had their name put into a hat and I was one of those picked! I started on cornet and joined Michelmersh Band a few years later. When I was about 15 I joined Woodfalls Concert Brass, playing for them for around 15 years (with a few breaks!) ending up on flugel. I joined Downton Band in July last year. |
| Best-ever banding moment | The whole of the Swiss trip with Woodfalls Concert Brass, playing my first solo (in bare feet as I was worried my legs would shake with nerves too much and I'd fall over in my heels), the Steven Mead practices and qualifying for the National Finals with Downton. |
| Worst-ever/most embarrassing banding moment | Um, don't have very many 'bad' moments..... I was still in bed once when my lift came to pick me up for Poole Contest....and one particularly bad concert was when I was standing in for my (now) boyfriend on principal cornet with Woodfalls Concert Brass with a killer hangover. I kept having to leave the bandstand to go and be sick. Not nice. |
| When I joined Downton Band | 2008 |
| Favourite band piece | Year of the Dragon, Harrisons Dream, Rusalka's Song to the Moon |
| Least favourite band piece | Any pop arranged for brass........It's Raining Men, Amarillo, One Moment in Time etc etc |
| Anything else... | |
